Script 3

Scene One:

You see a close-up of a gun being handled and reloaded. This is a series of close-up shots. There is then a point of view shot where a person is seen holding the gun.

This quickly switches to an over the shoulder shot from a bandit's point of view which the character Shamus can be seen (although in the image Shamus is played by a girl). They both begin to fight, which is in a mid-shot, and Shamus throws a punch at the Bandit which results in him keeling over. This enables Shamus to steal his gun and therefore shoot Bandit A.

There is a wide shot of  Bandit A (played by a different actor as our previous actor refused to lie on the dirty floor) in which you can see a glimpse of Shamus as he turns to run. This switches to a wide shot of Shamus running.

END SCENE

Scene Two:

Shamus has now entered another place There is an over the shoulder shot from a bandits point where Shamus is revealed to have stopped running. This over the shoulder shot switches to Shamus to reveal AJ (sadly played by a boy in our photo storyboard) bound and blinded with a scarf. 

The camera then switches to a close-up of Shamus steadily holding the gun and aiming at the Bandit. He then pulls the trigger. There is a clos-up of the Bandit's reaction to when he gets shot (he dies).

This swiftly switches to a close-up of AJ who has now turned quite still and breathing intensely as a gunshot has just rung past her ears. This switches to a wide shot to reveal Shamus running towards her in order to free her. There s an extreme close-up/ cut in of her tied up hands as Shamus' hand moves in to take them off.

END SCENE

Scene Three:

There is now a medium two shot of AJ and Shamus as they slam a door open to run through a hallway. This quickly switches to a birds eye view.

As they are running you can hear the name Shamus being whispered eerily which both characters react to. This signifies both their importance as characters.

As Shamus turns around to end anyone who wishes to harm them, he finds he is staring up at and angry teacher who berates him for not doing his work:

Teacher: (SLAMS DOWN ON TABLE) SHAMUS! Why aren't you doing your work?

Shamus: Sorry Sir, I'll do it now.

Teacher: Hmm...
