Shaharyar's View:
- It should begin with a daydream where our main character jumps straight into action.
- Titles should appear as Shamus is reloading his gun.
- He then walks into a room and shoots people, effectively killing them.
- He then walks into another room where there is our other main character, AJ.
- She shouts his name as he gets shot.
- He wakes up.
- It should be within a school environment as this makes it seem more realistic.
- It should start with a daydream with the titles mixed in with the setting.
- It should have a few opening credits.
- We should use a variety of shots rather then just repeating/ overusing the same shot again and again.
- We should have 3 Opening credits.
- One of them should be a quote on daydreaming but should not be too blatant about our main theme .i.e. basically not too obvious.
- We should use a point of view shot.
- In the end when he walks up the teacher should be looking down on hi angrily.
- It should jump straight into the daydream so that when he wakes up, the audience are shocked.
- The girl should turn around and pull a trigger but instead of hearing a gunshot, you hear Shamus' name called out and this will then show that he is woken up.
- We should use the same character twice to show the links between the day dream and reality.
Whilst planning for our film, one must be aware of their restrictions. These consist of:
- Filming will occur during college hours only.
- Number of characters should be limited as it is only the opening sequence.
- There are location limits. We are only allowed the surrounding areas of the school, up to Upney Station and Longbridge Road.
- You must be punctual and arrive at your location at 7:30. This will give you time to set up the camera and the props. Filming should begin promptly at 7:45.
- Filming will finish no later at 5pm.
- You will be off-timetable for the day.
- You will not be able to use friends in the Sixth Form college as only media students are able to go off timetable for two days.
- Lateness WILL affect marks.
